Marjorie is a professional image and wardrobe business consultant that trained with Empowerment Enterprises under the tutelage of Sara Canaday. In addition to completing over 120 hours in body analysis, image, color, wardrobing etc. She is a certified coach with World Coach Institute to further enhance what she can offer to her corporate and individual clients. Her coaching certifications include career, leadership, professional coaching as well as specializing in relationships and bereavement to aid those going through transitions. Margie relishes the idea of helping each client develop their own unique style by starting with a fresh approach to exploring ones most positive inner attributes so they will convey well to others. She believes this can be done while maintaining ones true sense of self.
Margie’s love for fashion began as a child model and continued to grow as she became a young adult. Her interest for fashion remained a constant in her life by advising friends and family along with developing her savvy shopping skills. After being a banker and financial planner she understands the importance of budget conscious clients as well as dealing with sensitive areas that each person faces. Her days of being married to a banker created a full social calendar where the demands of fashion were ever present along with a tight budget which added to honing her skills in how to shop and present oneself favorably. The term “ business casual” hit the professional scene right after she started working so the experiences then and now give great value to her presentations and working with clients.
Later she enjoyed over 10 years in the group tour business where she designed, organized, and escorted group tours. This gave Margie a keen sense of detail as well the ability to pack for trips while maintaining style be it for business or pleasure.
Margie’s natural aptitudes bring out the best in others while understanding their sensitivities which creates a rewarding experience. She has had the benefit of working with men and women of all ages… from downsizing to a retirement community or home, creating a professional look, to being prepared for social engagements be it sorority rush, re-emerging onto the singles scene, traveling with a duffle bag through Africa, or in need of a new look. Whatever it is she is there to help you feel better about yourself.
Margie’s varied services include working with staffs of organizations with appropriate work attire, company dress codes;creating fashion and style show events. She has been featured on talk radio 1370am, Austin Woman Magazine, and Saks Fifth Avenue.
